Peanut Butter Blossoms

I think this is a cookie that is loved by many and I know they won't sit around our house for too long! The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is genius as usual. And I really like to eat these when they are warm out of the oven. Yum!!



Peanut Butter Blossoms (I cut this recipe in half and it worked just fine.)

2 sticks room temperature butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. peanut butter
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla

1/4 c. sugar for rolling dough in
candy kisses, such as Hershey Kisses

Directions
1. Combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Beat in eggs and then vanilla.
3. Add peanut butter and mix until combined.
4. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
5. Add in batches to the peanut butter mixture.
6. Shape into balls and roll in sugar.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
8. Top with a candy kiss.
